Ellie and Chris, the founders of Anchor, first crossed paths in 2016 while studying Theology during their final year abroad. Both with backgrounds in missionary work and volunteering, they quickly bonded over their mutual love for God, the Bible, and (of course) captivating musicals.

Driven by the desire to create a welcoming space where people from all walks of life could explore the richness of God's word, they teamed up with a shared vision. This vision came to fruition in 2019 when they founded Anchor.

Outside of their work at Anchor, Ellie has a background in Early Childhood Education, while Chris serves as a tutor and vocal coach, working with underprivileged youth and individuals with disabilities.

Despite their demanding careers, Ellie and Chris have remained committed to what they truly feel called to—spreading the Word of God to anyone eager to deepen their understanding of Scripture.

Even amidst the challenges, including the hurdles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, these two steadfast friends have worked tirelessly to offer this platform to the Melbourne community and are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to connect with everyone.
